A Patient Experience

A new patient came to Wolper on Friday 23rd, so she knew nothing about what we were doing. She was desperate to get to Wolper because it’s a Jewish hospital with Jewish food. I turned up 2 minutes after her arrival and gave her the invitation for our Shabbat Project dinner, and all the information about the Project. She was stunned. She couldn’t believe her luck! At the dinner, she came out to light her candles, and she was crying. It touched EVERYBODY there. The spirit of that Shabbat dinner stayed with her for days.
